Rangiora Solar Farm 5 MW
The Rangiora Solar Farm will sit across eight hectares of an existing farm near Rangiora. It will include approximately 8000 solar panels, building a mid-sized, dual use solar farm, where animals can continue grazing while renewable energy is generated.
Construction is expected to begin in the second half of 2025.
The farm will generate 5 MW of renewable energy, which will mostly be consumed locally, providing for some of Rangiora’s daytime energy needs.
